The Port of Seville’s Logistics Activity Zone is the first in the south of the peninsula. It occupies 54 hectares and has 200,000m2 of warehouses to serve as storage for distribution across all Andalusia, Extremadura, the Canary Islands and North Africa.
Its location in the Port of Seville, alongside the Container Terminal and the Railway Terminal of the Centenario dock, makes this area a strategic logistics platform with excellent connections by both land and sea.
It has the latest polyvalent logistics facilities where the foremost clients are established, including those which have warehouses for their own use. There are warehouses for third-party logistics and multi-client distribution services, and a hub dedicated to cold-storage logistics.
The Port of Seville has all the conditions for a multi-modal logistics platform. First, because of its location, not only in geographical terms, but also because of its proximity to end users with regard to distribution and logistics. Secondly, because of the strong interest of private business in the development of the logistics areas, and finally because of the availability of land close to the maritime and railway infrastructures.
